Orders placed with credit/debit card:
Your financial institution will place a temporary hold on the funds as your order is processed. This is not a charge. The hold will be released automatically once your order has shipped.

Orders placed with a Lakay Remedies Gift Card:
Once your order is submitted, the funds are immediately deducted from your Lakay Remedies Gift Card.

❌ For Unsuccessfully Submitted Orders (Credit/Debit Cards)

Your financial institution may place a temporary hold on your card in the following situations:

  • An order is attempted but not completed successfully
  • An order is fully canceled

This hold is placed in anticipation of the order shipping but will expire automatically within the timeframe set by your financial institution. You will not be charged for incomplete or canceled transactions.

❌ Fully Canceled Orders

  • If your order is canceled, the temporary hold will expire automatically based on your bank’s policy.
  • If your order was paid using a Lakay Remedies Gift Card, the funds will be returned to your gift card at the time of cancellation.

🔐 Security

  • For your protection, your billing address, card expiration date, and security code must match your bank’s records.
  • We require the correct CVV/security code with every transaction. For privacy, we do not store this code.

💸 Tax Policy

Sales tax is applied in accordance with local and state laws. An estimated tax total will be shown at checkout. Final tax amounts are based on:

  • Your shipping destination
  • The shipping origin of your order
  • Applicable tax laws at the time of fulfillment

Note: Gift wrap and delivery fees may also be subject to tax in certain locations.

With Sezzle, you can split your purchase into 4 interest-free payments made every 2 weeks. The first payment is due at the time of purchase. Sezzle is subject to approval.

  • You are using your own credit/debit card or bank account

If we suspect fraudulent activity, we will contact you to verify your identity, including requesting an ID that matches the payment method used.

  • Do not use someone else’s credit/debit card to make purchases on our site.
  • If we determine that you are not the authorized cardholder, your order will not be shipped.
  • Refunds for fraudulent or unauthorized orders must be pursued directly through your bank.

This policy helps us prevent fraud and keep our prices affordable.
